Epic leadership fail 250+ lost their jobs

I loved working for this company! Loved the culture, the kindness and compassion that we showed to members and to each other, loved helping people and saving lives.
Cons
Unfortunately that compassion was not part of leadership culture. It was clear for months that the company's biggest client was in jeopardy, yet they hired like it was a done deal and made zero plans for the possibility that the client was lost, which it ultimately was. 75% of us unceremoniously dumped via Zoom meeting as a result, not given any time to say good bye or gather contacts. I'm shocked and angry, and felt we deserved much better. Oh, and please don't add further insult by copying and pasting the same message from "talent aquisition" - no response is better than a canned, impersonal response.
