Pros

I have to admit I was a little hesitant to stop hands on patient care and take on the responsibility of coaching patients/members telephonically. I don't regret my decision one bit! I love the ability to be trusted to work remotely and manage my caseload with the ever present support of my supervisors and peers. I am the type of person who thrives off of challenge and change. This position offers me the opportunity to impact people in a way I never thought possible. In a world where traditional healthcare has a "treat and street" mentality, this company's goals and mission mirror my own: to give people who otherwise would be ignored the chance to change their lives for the better.

Cons

I honestly can't think of any.

Pros

Work from home Decent pay Paid time off

Cons

False sense of job security, bad communication and constant changes. Company lost 80% of their business then laid 200+ employees off. Made them feel as if THEY were the ones who did something bad. For a company who preaches about mental health they sure don’t care about their employees mental health at all. I used to love working here, but in the end everything I feared was true. Don’t waste your time.

We appreciate your feedback. Our mission is to improve the health and save the lives of as many people as possible. We have great appreciation for our staff and all they have given to our mission, members and our company. The loss of our largest customer was a surprise and deep disappointment to everyone at Ontrak and forced us to have to make very difficult decisions regarding our workforce. Our hearts go out to everyone who is impacted, and to their families. We are committed to doing everything we can to support everyone at this very difficult time.

Stay away - sad company to work for

Pros

Remote job, decent pay, benefits ok, and the mission (ultimately).

Cons

Leadership (VPs, Sr. Manager, and Managers) who have been at this company for some time now are not true or effective leaders. There are some who have been working for Catasys/Ontrak a few years and have only been the wrong people in the wrong roles. Some of these leaders talk about staff really bad and share rumors among one another. They will talk about a staff member in a meeting and then in front of that staff member, talk to them as nothing is wrong, as they (so called leaders) are honest. In meetings, they will belittle others in a harsh way. Do not be too gullible on the leadership that is leading the care community and engagement activities. They are backstabbers. So much bad news about this company, which is sad. When you think of what the company is trying to do, their mission, and the frontline work, it is critical to the communities. However, pulling the plug so quickly on 250+ staff without proper warning or departure steps is = sad. For a company is speaks about “empathy” and mental health, they do not walk their talk. Many leaders have left because they “know”.
