Pros

The people at PROS are its biggest asset. Everyone is very approachable and willing to help. Its also easy network internally by going to company events and getting involved in employee-run initiatives and groups. Development teams are very open to new ideas and collaboration from all team members and work to stay current with latest technology. PROS is working to increase diversity through closing the gender pay gap for males and females in the same role and by supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives through employee resource groups with executive sponsorship and enthusiasm.

Cons

PROS has very informal performance evaluation process. Although you work alongside your manager every day, your manager may only schedule two one-on-one meetings with you a year. You must take ownership of scheduling those meetings with them to get targeted feedback.

Pros

* You pick your intern project from a list of projects pitched by different teams. Since the program is split into two halves, with a hackathon in the middle, you get to do two projects * Free snacks and drinks * Nice and helpful staff. Shoutout to Aylen. * Competitive pay * Fun company sponsored events

Cons

* A bit vague on the housing stipend. But you get less than a $1000 for the entire 10 week program.

Pros

PROS is not for the mediocre or the faint of heat. Coming here is a challenge and its meant to be. The company tries hard to keep fun events and programs to keep work fun while pushing you to be your best self. From Resource Groups to active analysis on diversity and pay, the company is always looking for ways to treat everyone fairly, pay purely on performance, and make sure all employees feel welcomed & supported.

Cons

The company is growing through natural growth and acquisitions. The company is use to a small corp (work family) environment. PROS is experiencing growing pains and is having a hard time scaling and maintaining their small corp mindset. Certain processes throughout the organization are too difficult to be proficient to keep the business going while other parts of the business are anything goes.

Great company with a few bad apples

Pros

Great Benefits Free Parking Well rounded culture of different backgrounds. Majority of PROS employees are fairly nice/approachable Willing to promote within/allow option to transition to different departments Endless amounts of food/beverage Try's to give everyone time to have Non-PROS related outside hobbies. Stresses the message of understanding and embracing different cultures. Depending if it's the day before a holiday, the office will close at 3pm, but you still may have to work.

Cons

The Higher the position, the more snobs you will find. Horrible attitudes. Your pay will not increase as much if your department is not one of the Premiums (i.e Executive) but PROS will constantly remind you about how they did a particular quarter regarding revenue. Too much food goes to waste. The Office is always open December 24th/December 31st. The office is very empty.

Pros

Pay is decent. Location is nice. Bonus is nice. There are very smart people here.

Cons

Some departments are great, but others are horrible. Good people quit bad bosses. Before making the decision to accept the job offer, look closely at your future manager.

Pros

A huge portion of the company's expenditure goes toward professional services, where you can find folks from all walks of life with below average pays working nights &weekends to "configure" their proprietary software - thanks to product failures and demanding customers. To get rid of this portion of expenditure, management has tried for years to develop "industrial templates" that can be implemented for new customers seamlessly, so they don't have to keep 4-7 resources per customer project...

Cons

Unfortunately, this hasn't been achieved, and it is the same people who've failed time after time that is in charge of this effort again this year, it is also the same group of people who failed to sell our CPQ to Microsoft after spending $$$$$$$ on marketing, wouldn't it be nice to give some of that money to your hard-working employees who sacrificed so much to keep the projects in shape?

Pros

Good salary(if you are a permanent citizen) Liberal with Work from home (see cons) Getting to work with some of the best technical ones(i worked at several places before) Getting to work in the latest technology and software out there Feedback is well appreciated Parking is free. Come early though to get a parking under the roof Snacks fruits and soda are free Good company to settle down with working partner Health insurance is far lesser than what you pay at other so called big companies There are very helpful and technical people. You have to identify and get the help from them

Cons

If you are an immigrant you will be paid much lower. And don't forget this company has too many levels and they don't easily promote if you aren't good in socializing and political games. Beware : QA team has too many ladies playing loud mouth that are supported by people speaking same language and zero technical skills but who have the capability to put you in bad light If you ask for help from a wrong person you will be doomed and dusted across teams :p Work from home is available based on your rapport with manager and management and not the need. I was denied permission to work for less than a month while some are working years together from home(ohh they aren't the best in class) If you are not good in estimating task time , socialize but do a lot of work this isn't a place for you. You will be cornered, look down upon or worse won't grow beyond senior or lead. All in all this place is good for getting your skills updated and not for people who do work. It's a great place if you can organize and delegate stuff. You are the best fit
