Tons of Opportunity

Pros

The company has gone through some shifts that have allowed for a number of new roles to open up along with more promotions for hard work. Not only that, but management continues to make their presence felt as they are constantly encouraging the sales team to continue being successful. The benefits are top notch from vacation policy to meals served everyday. Couldnt ask for more from a company given how many "top" companies have limited promotional opportunity and stringent vacation restrictions. Do you job, do it well, and you will be taken care of.

Cons

Given the nature of what they do and the clients they handle, some days can be stressful. But what job isnt?

Dynamic work environment at an important company

Pros

I found - across the board - first rate, deeply intelligent colleagues at Reputation.com. The environment remained fast-moving, even as the company grew. There's a sense that something important is happening here - indeed the company invented the online reputation management space - now it's seeing that invention through.

Cons

In any scaling company, you're going to have growing pains. This can mean longer hours at inflection points and evolutions in corporate structure - basically comes with the territory.

Startup getting past growing pains

Pros

Energetic office filled with people who believe in the mission of the company and want to see it succeed. We got to solve new and interesting problems in an entrepreneurial way. I also received good equity-based compensation on top of a competitive salary.

Cons

I was at the company during some startup growing pains. People were being challenged to accept new roles and responsibilities that they weren't always ready for. The company was good about support (especially if you seek it out from some of the managers who have been there for a while) but some employees were unhappy about the constantly expanding responsibilities. I understand that things are becoming more stable, but any growth startup will always challenge people to grow; I personally enjoyed being to expand my career and try new things.
