Pros

Huge potential for professional growth. If you work hard and take ownership in what you do they give you the opportunity to take on more leadership responsibilities. Online reputation management is an interesting space and a growing need for consumers/businesses. There is a drive for innovation. They offer great compensation and benefits (Beautiful office, free lunch and dinner, bootcamp, Caltrain pass, tickets to sporting events).

Cons

It is typical to work long hours/late nights especially during a launch. The priorities of the company can shift quickly and your responsibilities may change due to that shift.

Pros

- This is a really fun place to work. Lots of great perks like company provided lunches, boot camp, pool table, Caltrain passes, tickets to Giants games, etc. - My direct manager is great, very supportive and I really feel like she has my best interests in mind. - There are lots of interesting projects and opportunities that you can find in the company.

Cons

At times there doesn't seem to be clear direction from the senior management. There seems to be more than one vision for the company.

Pros

If you don't have a family or need a substantial salary, working from home is nice. Other than management, coworkers were helpful and friendly.

Cons

I took this job so I could continue to stay at home with my kids, but because they implemented the oDesk productivity tracking system, I ended up having to work in the middle of the night. I found my manager to be very brusque and insulting at times, with inconsistent feedback. Instead of completing my training period, she handed me off to other trainers. It seemed like she was sick of giving me feedback. When the workload increased, she decided to demote me instead of finishing my training. That combined with the insane hours and low pay sent me back to the job market. I also was a bit sketched out by some of the clientele. It seemed liked we were defending some real nasty characters.
