Pros

- Very disruptive idea and platform, current leader in its domain - Engineering places high value on good programming practices, innovation, and experimentation. I am learning at an exponential rate working here. Work is actually fun and challenging - Change in the company's vision a couple years ago made Enterprise the focus and we are now skyrocketing. Management is very transparent with their goals, revenues, and costs. We know exactly which direction we are heading each month, and it's up - Maintains a great startup culture and environment (just take a look at the photos) but with the maturity and direction of a larger company - Great benefits, flexible hours, good vacation policy

Cons

- Only free catered lunch 3 days of the week (first world problems) - Salary is competitive, but it's no Google... yet - No 401k matching

Pros

- awesome product - inspired engineering team - 3x week free food.

Cons

- executive team/ceo too chaotic and not focused - HR organization is ridiculous, root cause of several employee issues and has been given full freedom .. lacks empathy and discipline - lots of attrition, especially in sales, product, and csm teams and no one seems to care - poor benefits (no 401k match) - too much politics and unnecessary escalations all over with lack of leadership, - everyone seems to be in a constant state of agitation or overworked with no real productivity or end-goal

Excellent place to work and learn quickly

Pros

Reputation.com offers a great work environment for anyone looking to work at a fast-paced start-up with smart individuals who are trying to push the sales & technology envelopes on a daily basis. Moreover, since this is still a smallish firm, you get the opportunity to wear multiple hats, sit in on meetings with key executives and in general, accelerate your learning across multiple product/engineering/business fronts, should you choose to do so. Finally, and importantly, the company also provides excellent benefits and 3x per week meal service.

Cons

It is still a small company, so anyone who is currently working at a large firm needs to be aware of the same. You will likely be a good fit here if you are a smart, hard-working and ambitious individual who is comfortable dealing with and adapting to some ambiguity.

Pros

I'll agree that not every company is for every type of employee. To blame the company because it wasn't a good fit for you seems a little silly to me. I just celebrated my second anniversary with this company and plan on staying as long as they will have me. I work remotely and communication is excellent. Benefits are great. I don't work in the office so snacks are truly irrelevant to the pro column. I will tell you this company has done nothing but look out for us. I believe in the future of this company and want to see it succeed so my co-workers and I respect and work with each other to enhance both our workflow and the bottom line of the compay. My team rocks and although we are now part of the wholly owned subsidiary ReputationDefender we truly look out for each other. At the end of a phone call with one of my teammates I feel like a truly valued part of this company. That's not given, it has to be earned. work/life balance: I have to say they have been accommodating to a fault working with my requests for remote work. They really do listen - as a result they have a loyal employee who cares about the bottom line and doesn't think in terms of 9-5.

Cons

Turnover is to be expected - lives change - people move on - priorities are shuffled. It would be nice to see a little less turnover but that's not all on the company.

Very glad to hear you're enjoying your role at ReputationDefender! We work hard to ensure employees feel this is a company they can stay with for the long term (and many have, we have average tenure of almost 3 years on the ReputationDefender side!). Keep up the great work!

Great small company to work for :)

Pros

Reputation.com is an awesome small company that is the defacto leader in an attractive market segment. The company is smallish, so there is significant opportunity for new hires to come in and take ownership of meaty, challenging projects and accelerate their learning curve, something that wouldn't happen in a large tech company, for sure. In addition, the company is assembling a strong team across all functions / employee ranks, which clearly bodes well for the future. Great office space next to the bay, free food 3x per week, free shuttle to Caltrains, subsidized gym membership, regular social / fun activities and a very competitive benefits package are other good reasons to work here.

Cons

With HQ in Redwood City and no direct train connections or ferry connections (yet) from the East Bay, the commute is a bit long for these folks, so you may want to factor that in your decision. Also, if you are looking for a company that has a slower pace of work, you maybe better off choosing a larger technology company.

Pros

Great coworkers, awesome offices, great perks and benefits packages. You get to work on real challenges every day. The company is large enough that you can specialize, but small enough that you feel like your work adds value. Great work/life balance, and fun company events to encourage everyone to spend a little time socializing now and again.

Cons

Experience vastly depends on your manager - make sure you're aligned with the person who would manage you before signing up to work here. Communication could be better between teams, but there are things in the works that are designed to improve this.

A Great Place to Work

Pros

I have never written a review for a company that I'm working for, but I felt inspired to do so because Reputation.com is so exceptional. There are many reasons why this company is a great place to work but here are just a few of them... The Management Team is first rate. They are of high integrity and stand by their word; The product is the best in the industry, by far; It's a growing company with exciting things coming soon; The people who work there are very supportive and truly want to help you succeed; Lunch is provided for those in the office; and the Health Benefits are wonderful.

Cons

What I have seen and experienced at Reputation.com has been very positive. This company cares about its employees and works diligently to create a positive and inspiring atmosphere for them.

Market Leader

Pros

Fast paced, hyper growth from an industry leader in a market that is white hot. Reputation.com has the most advanced and well design reputation platform in the ORM industry. We are 18-24 months ahead of our closest competitor and our client list includes many of the most well known brands in the world. The culture is fast paced and demanding. Leadership is exceedingly supportive and our CEO is engaged, accessible and always willing to dive in and assist anyone with any project, client call or problem solving challenge.

Cons

Benefits are good however I'd like to see 401k matching. Communication can sometimes be a problem due to rapid growth but that is somewhat typical for this environment.

Reputation.com is a great place to learn quickly

Pros

I've been working in the Consumer team at Reputation.com for almost a year, and I've learned more than I did in the last 3 years of my prior job. It's a startup environment where you're still encouraged to try new things, while also learning what has worked for many years already. I like the mission of the consumer and executive privacy products because people have limited options in this area, and I believe that they should have every right to see and manage their personal information online. Reputation.com has proven its market fit and knows how to acquire customers, and I have learned so much that I could apply to future products and markets. The pace is fast but not furious and the company generally respects the importance of your personal balance. Lunch is served most days of the week. Health benefits for 2015 are much improved from last year.

Cons

There's less structure than many companies. You are likely to be given plenty of autonomy, which can be difficult if you prefer structured training and assignments.

Fast paced!

Pros

The culture is customer focused, data driven, and extremely high paced. There is a solid team dedicated to doing right by the customers. The engineers are smart and deliver for our customers every few weeks. It is very nice to work for a company that provides real benefits to their customers. Reputation isn't just fluff. Everyone works hard, but most of the execs have families so they respect work life balance.

Cons

Hypergrowth startups aren't for everyone. The environment requires initiative, and there is a lot of work to simultaneously support our customers, grow the business and invest in the future. Not for the faint of heart! This is an enterprise software company, and that also isn't for everyone. If you are looking for lavish parties at the expense of VCs, this isn't the right place.
