Pros

WFH Advancement opportunities high up in company even as WFH Likes to promote from within Pretty good benefits People who work there are mostly good to work with Most bosses are friendly and helpful Company has been around a long time and is stable

Cons

Pay could be better but couldn't it always? WFH has its negatives as well, like truly feeling like you know a coworker or superior It's not for everyone, call centers aren't in general though

We agree that our pay is not the highest, and we have recently begun a new incentive plan that is geared towards individual achievement. Our call center work-from-home employees are in control of their earnings! We are very excited about this new pay for performance pilot program! Thank you for your feedback. We do our best to be open regarding all our positions.

SDC okay place to work

Pros

Best thing about SDC is the work from home aspect of things. There are some benefits like medical, vision and dental. I also love the stock purchase plan. Lots of internal advancement positions available.

Cons

No pay raise ever no matter how long or how good of employee you are. They have a bonus that is based on metrics but unfortunately a lot of that is uncontrollable and you have to be top 15. The biggest contract is Comcast so expected to deal with back to back calls all day from other departments that either do not know what they are doing or just do not care and just want to dump the customer. Company policy seems to vary from supervisor to supervisor. Your schedule is not fix and can be changed at any point in time based on needs of the company. The change is based on metrics. Anytime your power or internet goes down they take away your paid time off. The reliability of the tools needed to complete the job are spotty at best. When there are not enough agents to cover the shifts they blame the agents for not meeting adherence.

As we continue to evolve, so does our compensation structure. We have long been an employer who has a pay for performance philosophy. We have recently begun a pilot program which allows the individual employee to control his/her compensation rate by their performance and attendance. We are very excited to present this new program to our employees! Regarding schedules, we are very open about the need to be flexible, however, we always provide a minimum of a two week notice before a schedule is changed. We have several options available to our employees regarding schedule changes, such as a unique shift auction process and the ability to trade with other employees. We continue to develop new ways for our employees to find the schedule that works best for them while also supporting our ever-changing business requirements. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share with us!
