The Santa Monica team is driven, passionate, and really nice. We like to have fun but there's a ton of work going on. Everybody knows what's expected and just gets after it. The company really operates off of the core values, and it shows.

Cons

Fast paced, so if you're not ready for that, probably not a good fit.

Near where me and my family live

This company is a selfish company. They take and take but they never give back, that's why a lot of people are leaving. Even employees who have been loyal to them for years and years are leaving because they don't know how to take care of their people. It's sad to think that most of the agents here are just here because of it's near their house, not because they want to be in the company, it's because they don't have any other choice. Manila is so far away, so even if TaskUs is not the greatest and probably the worst we have worked for, we do not have any choice but to be here because of the proximity. I do not recommend TaskUs to those who want to love their job, you will hate this company.

I'm sorry that you haven't had the greatest experience thus far, and I encourage you to speak to your local HR representative in Cavite about what we can do better. We do have over a 71% referral rate, so our current employees seem to feel that TaskUs is a place that they love working so much, that they want their friends and family to work there too! We have offices in the city as well as the rural areas, to combat the proximity issue.

Your average human lifespan will be cut by a mere 5 years or 10 even working with all the drama and stress this company has.

We work hard and like to celebrate some of our wins with an occasional drink or two in an approved social setting, but it sounds like you may have a different impression.
