Unqualified managers. Favoritism towards employees. Lack of training. They claim to have great “company culture”, but the management fails to uphold those values.

I find it truly disappointing that Tech Data makes no effort to make any announcements or provides words of comfort regarding the recent Asian American attacks or Black Lives Matter movement. The company focuses on profit, mergers with Synnex, and Apollo's recent acquistion of the company. However, they overlook the opinions and feelings of their employees. Moral is at an all time low. Three of my co-workers resigned last year. And four this year, it's only March! The managers and higher ups need to focus more on customer satisfaction and employee retention. In addition, I have no received any sort of merit increase or promotion and I have been working here for two years already. Other companies would at least provide a merit increase at a minimum. I have also found out that the females and minorities on my team are getting paid less than their white male counterparts. That is a shame.

At the low levels, things were fairly unorganized. Operation-wise, documentation was lacking. Too much tribal knowledge that was conflicting and scattered. There were many situations in which clueless people were left on their own. High turnover rate. The quality of my colleagues wasn't the best. Some were tardy while others were disruptive. This was understandable due to realistic limitations but was not healthy for sustainable collaborations. Corporate IT in Clearwater, FL was hardly helpful.

Company overall does not have trust in employees. Cold and heartless culture.

Pay is not so great

Low pay Culture is horrible and they truly don’t care about the employees. Need to get lucky with a good manager, but GOOD LUCK! Management in various departments needs a good house cleaning

For as much as they talk about D&I, the top leadership is still mostly male and 90% white, company culture changes drastically depending on office location, nepotism when it comes to hiring, no real room for advancement, a lot of talk about excellent employee and company performance while stagnating wages, resistant to change when it comes to Work-Life Balance, not nearly as tech savvy as you would think, inadequate training policies, increases workload without increasing pay, focuses more on appearing to be progressive without actual accountability
