Employee Benefits is ok but not competitive

Management is the worst. Expect result without giving proper training or knowledge transfer. Expect employee to do all even though it is violating segregation of duties. Micro managing - Questioning employees and breaking their self confidence. No career progression here. Reducing all the benefits that was once given. Does not care about their employee.

Pay isn't great Management is political

There was not an opportunity for continued training in the field vs. Sales.

Racists and always threatening to fire and talking Indian all the time everywhere especially in front of locals.You will be expected to work during vacation will get emails on weekends also.Saying hybrid but expected all the time.Most people past retirement age with no management training.

Tough to get promoted Not the highest pay for the industry

My experience with TD was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The company suffers from a lack of proper organisational structure, creating confusion and inefficiency. Leadership is largely controlled by salespeople from China who have manoeuvred themselves into management positions through manipulative tactics, often sidelining more qualified internal candidates. This has fostered a toxic environment rife with internal politics and backstabbing. Additionally, the company’s once-competitive benefits package has been significantly reduced as part of cost-cutting measures. The commission scheme, which used to be a key incentive, has been altered to make earning commissions nearly impossible. The Human Resources department further exacerbates the situation by employing gaslighting tactics and displaying extreme rudeness towards employees, adding to the overall dissatisfaction. Training programs are inadequate, leaving employees poorly prepared and unsupported. Management frequently prioritises vendor interests over staff, further eroding morale. The work culture is marked by a lack of transparency and frequent favoritism, making it difficult to trust colleagues and management. Despite some potential in the company’s services, the overall work environment is unprofessional and detrimental to personal and professional growth. I would strongly advise against joining TD if you value a fair, structured, and supportive workplace.
