Pros

Entry into the payments industry

Cons

Account managers are held to a higher standard than any other team. They are overworked and will not add headcount no matter what. They are 100% about profits, not people. Leadership puts so many things on the account manager without it being in the job description. If you love micromanaging, this is your place. You can’t do anything without 3-5 approvals, managers want to attend every call. Control is all they want. Conservative politics at its core, zero accommodations for COVID. One leader literally stated “the government can’t hold us down” during a call regarding vaccines. Inclusion / diversity is lacking. Upper management is AWFUL. They will talk down to you, never listen to any feedback, and they do not care about your input. So many “leaders” get completely wasted on company trips…..I witnessed one manager recording another being drunk and making fun of her in a group setting afterwards. Professionalism is not a thing here. The account management team is the most toxic group I have ever worked with. Someone can have such a bad manager, they ask to be moved to another team and InComm PROMOTES the manager. Zero accountability. Very low pay for market - It can be a $20k difference in pay within the same position with the same work experience. The bonus structure is not built around your portfolio. I can’t say this enough - the leadership at this company is toxic, mysogynistic, political, and rude. The health benefits are awful. Just don’t work here.

Pros

You get to do multiple peoples jobs.

Cons

Little vacation time, bad 401k matching, 1-ish% raises yearly, everything is a rush. I’d invent a new phrase for this company: “macro-micro management.” Leadership constantly pushes arbitrary KPIs, and even when you meet or exceed them, performance is still judged subjectively based on management’s feelings rather than actual analytics or results. There’s a persistent culture of surveillance and criticism with very little constructive feedback or direction. It often feels like, “I don’t know what I want, but it’s not this.” Sales lacks clear strategy, marketing feels disconnected and uninspired, and morale across teams is extremely low due to turnover and frequent firings. Overall, the company environment feels unstable, poorly managed from the top down, and difficult to trust as an employee. I would not recommend working here. Full of “yes” people with no strategy.
