Lack of work. Ceo makes so much a year yet laid off and closed so many facilities. We were told since we worked from home our jobs were secure but then they closed our department. Very focused on numbers.

Sometimes scheduling, but not too bad

Too much "re-structuring"...not enough work/life balance.

Management is terrible. Looking back I would have been better off being unemployed. I was belittled and borderline harassed. I was warned about the ESI culture but I thought it was just coming from disgruntled employees , I am here to tell you that it was worse than I ever expected. I did the job of three people and never received as much as a thank you. ESI absolutely lives up to it's reputation. If you are reading this because you are contemplating a career with this organization, RUN I promise you can do better.

Work load can be unmanageable at times, little parental leave

The annual forced ranking of employees, where a fixed number of employees must be rated "Below Target" is demoralizing for both managers and employees, as it impacts raises and bonuses. In a bad year (for the company, or your ranking) bonuses disappeared.

not really a con, but managers expect you to stay in a current position for at least 1.5-2 years even if you are overqualified for the position and your experience would be valued , useful and is much needed in another area of the company

Very high number of hours. Nights and weekends often expected. High expectation to work at any given time. A high deductible for benefit coverage. Many managers empress a high-stress environment. Often suffer management styles that expect you to simply do as you are told instead of considering your professional expertise. Management often shows a lack of respect for employees.
