Pros

The free gym in the basement and parking garage.

Cons

Unfair, shady practices. The company is crumbling from the inside out, while trying to maintain the appearance of stability. They cut costs by removing light bulbs, taking away straws and flatware, while the executives still drive their company paid luxury cars. Promotion is based on who you know or are related to and has nothing to do with competence or skill. There are no clear procedures for anything and there is chaos and disorganization throughout.

Pros

Fun coworkers, laid back office, flexible hours, opportunities for those who are truly driven. Not a terrible place, not a great place either.

Cons

Lots of restrictions of advisors, little help gaining clients, extremely high startup costs. I felt that the advisors didn't truly create value for their clients, but were just more worried about selling and commissions.

Pros

Fantastic Benefits. They pay you to work out in the onsite gym specifically built for employees. They were interested in having healthy employees and tried hard to encourage healthy lifestyles. Besides the gym they also held lunch hour seminarsz on health topics that employees could suggest. The Insurance benefits are great. Some complained but I thought they were better than most places. Many of the departments were great places to work. The Virtual Team management had a bad reputation and no one would transfer into our department.

Cons

The particular department I worked in was out of touch with the needs of the people on their team. They talked about wanting to make it a better enviroment but never followed through. The revolving door on the Virtual Administrative Services department was unreal. Management style created bad feelings and tension between workers.
