Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear positive comments about our leadership, benefits, and commission structure. We take your concerns about transparency falling short at times, as well as the perceived lack of input seriously. Our commitment to fostering an informed work environment includes encouraging team members to engage with weekly CEO updates, as well as company and departmental meetings. We also highly value questions and feedback, which can be shared through regular one-on-ones, departmental meetings, and Quarterly Pulse Satisfaction Surveys. As we approach the new year, we continue to refine quotas to make them more attainable. Your insights as a former employee are integral to our ongoing efforts for continuous improvement, and we sincerely appreciate your contribution to our positive workplace culture.

Pros

Some cool people and remote work.

Cons

Management doesn't take care of the people who are doing the hard work. If you're not friends with Gabe, you won't do well here. It's a boys club. They pay very low to market standards, but expect you to keep pushing forward and staying positive with no benefit.

Pros

I've been with Hawk Ridge in the same sales position for about 5 years now. I've seen a lot of people come and go and the people that have success are the ones that are able to learn the changes in the market, be able to speak fluently to engineers despite not being one themselves and lastly, be able to stay organized and have the tenacity to maintain contact during a long sales cycle. The fact of the matter is the SOLIDWORKS eco-system is vast and can get complicated, learning what everything does is a multi-year process and you will need to be really driven to make sales while your learning by working hard, asking basic questions and pulling in the correct resources. This can really be overwhelming when you work in a virtual capacity. But if you're hungry and are dedicated to getting to that point, the company offers great compensation really good bennefits and the best support in the industry. The gig is easy, you just gotta work at it.

Cons

Hawk Ridge has grown immensley the last few years and is currently experiencing some growing pains that any company would going from a hundred something employees to over 500 in a short amount of time. We recently changed CRM's and the migration was clumsy to say the least. The administrative clean-up is the biggest downside to the job. Getting sales isn't hard, struggling with the system in place is. Additionally (and this is the case for any VAR in the SOLIDWORKS channel) were at the whim of what SOLIDWORKS wants to do, that lack of autonomy can be frustrating at times.

Thank you for your dedicated service to Hawk Ridge Systems and your insightful feedback. We value your recognition of the great compensation, benefits, and support that Hawk Ridge Systems offers. We acknowledge that our sales environment requires adaptability and tenacity, and that the transition to a new CRM system has not been without its challenges. However, we encourage you to continue to share your concerns with your manager during regular one-on-one meetings, as well as in the quarterly employee satisfaction surveys (Pulse Surveys). It’s through these open lines of communication that we will continue to drive excellence and improve upon these challenges. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey.
