      Pros

      I started working here in July of 2020 when COVID really hit the fan. A friend of mine helped me get a job here and when I first heard about Kin Insurance I was so skeptical. I mean a salaried job that offer full benefits, unlimited PTO and treats its employees like people? Sounds too good to be true, right? Luckily it wasn't. Everyone and I mean everyone in the company is amazing, caring, compassionate and laid back. For a "white collar" job they're really not a traditional company. I definitely love working here.

      Pros

      Good people, leads program, decent benefits, competitive product, remote work.

      Cons

      Pay for your leads and that was not discussed during the interviews. The leads program will cost you $350/month. $60k would be considered a high income. Terrible CRM system. Very fast paced, high pressure, little job security. PTO is unlimited for salaried but mediocre for hourly and sales is hourly. Never heard the words 'terminable offence' and 'crack down on' used so frequently.

      Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Currently, our agents do not pay for leads, and all employees receive a minimum 16 days of PTO + 2 floating holidays.       Pros

      Amazing tech, fast paced exciting environment, very supportive people. Benefits are great! Senior leadership actually values opinions of sales reps and managers. Rapidly growing and changing company so keeping up with all the changes is a pro and a con (a pro for me but I could see it being a con for others)

      Cons

      Hard feeling connected in a 100% remote environment.

      Pros

      This is such a fun place to work. Still new enough to contribute meaningful ideas and processes but established enough that you're not concerned about where the company is headed. Great work life balance. I've enjoyed my time here.

      Cons

      I'm still on the fence if there are any at this point. If any I would say that things are still being figured out sometimes but that what you sign up for with a start up culture. If you're not adaptable and can't pivot quickly this may not be the place for you.

      Pros

      -Pay you to get your license if you don’t have one -Simple training, they pay you to study and pass! -Base pay is just about what every other sales job around here is paying, plus you get commission -Amazing training-extremely supportive -Remote job -Most colleagues were friendly and helpful -Private company with very generous benefits regarding medical leave -Fun job if you are a “people person” -company that is on the rise!

      Cons

      -I was a little upset about the recruitment...was not informed I would pay for my leads...not sure if that’s a “thing” anymore -Benefits are not as good health insurance wise... for an insurance company...high cost

      - Great culture - Full accountability - Access to CEO/President - Internal Mobility and lots of internal growth

      Cons

      - Leadership not always visible - Early stage start up means not great benefits. They're getting better as the company grows though
