The new guy in charge of the U.S. changed how Pop Mart used to operate, constantly making new rules and making it difficult for long-time employees to leave. He brings in his own people through the back door to control them. Meanwhile, the new hires have no clue what they’re doing in the company. Long-term employees constantly have to adapt to ever-changing rules, many of which don’t make sense and make store operations difficult. Management strictly follows rules from China without adapting to the U.S. work environment. There's little to no consideration for employee well-being. Weekly inventory checks are excessive and poorly organized, wasting time and energy. Feedback is ignored, and there's no room for open communication or improvement. It feels like employees are undervalued and overworked.
