Pros

You can be successful in RQ as long as you can work harder than all the overworked people here. Good luck. The company has gotten many generous investments totaling in the hundreds of millions! I'm not sure if you'll ever see a cent of that going into your paycheck though.

Cons

Our CEO has stated that he doesn't care about Glassdoor reviews and prefers that you provide any honest feedback to his face. The last time an employee followed his advice, they got fired soon afterwards. You can work 90 hours a week and management won't view that as a problem even if you complain about it. If anything, they will brag about your suffering to the entire work force and persuade others that working extremely hard is the norm here. Rather than addressing the company-wide issue of employee burnout and turnover, they instead hired a mental conditioner with zero experience in cybersecurity to "fix" the issue. You can't "fix" overworked employees. And when I say overworked I mean 80 to 90 hours a week on a salary pay. Any bonuses or raises you get will NEVER amount to what they'd owe you if overtime pay was a thing here. RQ has lost their grip on employee mental health if they ever even had a grip to begin with. I've lost count of how many delivery managers I've seen over the years crying during their lunch. The company will probably continue ramping up recruiting and "mental conditioning" before they ever focus on making their employees happy or healthy. Let me repeat that for the RQ folks in the back of the room who are too overworked to hear this. RQ chose to hire a MENTAL CONDITIONER to try and fix workplace morale. All it did was allow a guy to stroke the CEO's ego on a daily basis and get paid for it.

Pros

Food Food Food Food Food Food Food Food Food Food and more Food did I mention that you get free food every Friday.

Cons

A lot of people here don't want to help you and stick close to their clicks. They preach a lot of culture but not even close to keeping their word on it. After the first couple of months you will be thrown in to your doom. It's all about who you know that's the only way you move up in the company. They put on a show when you first get here but a lot of the people are not looking for you best interest. Only a hand full that actually want to see you succeed. Not a good place to start there are so many greater starting places they will mess you around. Not family oriented at all so kiss your weekends goodbye.

Pros

Compensation (base salary) is competitive

Cons

-The company culture RQ communicated during my interview process and on boarding is VERY different than the reality of RQ...complete bait and switch -Preach one big happy family-this could not be farther from the truth. -Lack of transparency -Lack of policy and procedures -Lack of collaboration -Lack of work/life balance -Lack of communication (when there is any, its very unprofessional) -Lack of resources -Lack of Management experience -Lack of feedback from Management -Lack of Management in general -Successes are rarely celebrated or appreciated -Most everyone is walking on egg shells around management and executive leadership -Extreme negativity from Management -Prepare to be patronized -Many of these items could be a result of growing pains (small company), which is always a risk you take when working for a startup. I quickly learned this lesson. -Management and Executive leadership does not appear to respect the thoughts or opinions of others. This results in a large corporate mindset with small company resources....far from ideal for any employee. -To sum it up, if you aren't one of the "good ol' boys, good luck
