Pros

Reputation.com offers a great work environment for anyone looking to work at a fast-paced start-up with smart individuals who are trying to push the sales & technology envelopes on a daily basis. Moreover, since this is still a smallish firm, you get the opportunity to wear multiple hats, sit in on meetings with key executives and in general, accelerate your learning across multiple product/engineering/business fronts, should you choose to do so. Finally, and importantly, the company also provides excellent benefits and 3x per week meal service.

Cons

It is still a small company, so anyone who is currently working at a large firm needs to be aware of the same. You will likely be a good fit here if you are a smart, hard-working and ambitious individual who is comfortable dealing with and adapting to some ambiguity.

Pros

The company has grown their success, overcoming obstacles, honing its approach to different markets. The upward trajectory has been a pleasure to experience. The mission of the company is a very positive one, empowering to individuals, and has the potential to improve business performance and customer experience worldwide. Colleagues are talented and respectful. There are promotion opportunities for reliable performers. Nice office environment with team outings to movies and baseball games, stocked kitchen, free lunches 3 times a week, and reasonable expectations.

Cons

There has been high turnover for a variety of reasons, some of which no longer apply. This has created uncertainty at times, and required some adjustments to different approaches and different leadership.

Pros

On all the basics, it's a great company. Good business, good customers, great employees, great leadership. The people are awesome. The office (HQ in Redwood City) is very nice. Nimble, dynamic, transparent. Also, it might be surprising, but in a way it's a lifestyle place. Depending on the group you're in, you will work very hard. But day to do it's a surprisingly low in-office hourly commitment. Most people are in the office basically 8 or so hours per day. Few are in the office after 6 pm. It's sort of weird, and you wish sometimes it weren't like that, but the advantages are that it's a manageable lifestyle. However, many people work at home later in the evenings again, so be aware of that. The leadership of the company is open and transparent with the team. If you are doing a great job, this company will reward you with career growth and compensation changes. Compensation is good (but benefits are not competitive; see below).

Cons

Benefits have been okay or even below market for a while. The company is apparently changing that, but it's not yet clear how "competitive" their benefits are going to be after the change. The business is very focused nowadays on the enterprise business; it is not as exciting as it used to be to be on the consumer team. Also, a lot of things around the company feel continually and always under-resourced, also: marketing, fulfillment, etc.. Sometimes projects are so lean that it can feel like things are too close to the bone. The company is in transition to an increasing focus on enterprise, and while the team has been clear about that, that transition has some ramifications that can be painful.
