Pros

Work from home..that's about it

Cons

This company has changed from nice to work for to devious & deceptive. They have gradually taken away every benefit that made me want to stay to no reason to stay...benefits suck, no raises in the 5 years that I've been here, HR never willing to help, schedules & everything that the other reviewers have commented on. So sad.

Pros

Good to work for as an off-hours work from home gig to supplement other projects. Provided good health insurance. Provided an excellent platform to gain knowledge of what tech problems average people experienced, and how to fix/avoid them.

Cons

Over time the job became less and less technical and more handholding and CS question answering. No raises ever, despite occasional mendacious promises of pay boosts once the company became profitable. They never came through. Recently has cut pay and responsibilities for many, retooling people from tech experts to script readers and tier 2 support for first line techs whose language skills are not up to par.

Pros

Used to be a great place where you could hone your IT skills. A lot of great people to work with. You work from home. Starting pay at this time is slightly better than some call centers.

Cons

Incredibly strict attendance policy. As in, you will be written up if you are over or under clocking in or out for breaks or lunch by 30 seconds. Take an unscheduled bathroom break? You will be written up. Constant calls, so you have to always be 'on'. You can now barely interact with anyone as a human being the entire time you are on shift. Shifts may change at the drop of a hat. You may work mornings one month and then after shift bids be working an entirely different shift. Or they may force you to change shifts if they need you to. Pay can be cut at any time. Don't even think about trying to go to school while working full time. No pay raises. Upper management is terrible. The odds of your job being outsourced are high. The tenant you work for could decide to drop the company and then you'll be out of a job. The metrics that are used to evaluate you are terrible. You'll fluctuate up and down each month and have no idea why. Ask your supervisors and they don't know, either. All the software, from the client you use to take calls in to the VPN is buggy as hell.
