Thanks for this review. I really love your first comment in Pros about enjoying the people that you work with! As for the Cons, the feedback you shared about communication across departments and career development are topics that we've been focused on improving. Beyond what we are already doing through regular cross-departmental meetings as well as the weekly all-hands FYI meetings, please feel free to share any other ideas that you might have with your supervisor or me direct. Lastly, I'd love to learn more about the "focusing on the few things that matter" feedback. Focus is definitely an approach that I value (as you know, it's one of our core company values) and if it feels like we are not focused I assume personal responsibility for that. Through 2014 and 2015 we have only been focused on three things: 1) Servicing our Customers, 2) Selling Strategically and 3) Monetizing our Network. I'll be sure to raise this topic and gather additional feedback in our weekly FYI meeting today. Thanks again for sharing your honest feedback, transparency is necessary for us to improve/grow as an organization! Austin

Pros

I haven been with dotloop for a little over 4 years and honestly say I would not work for any other company. The culture of dotloop defines who we are and it is the most unique culture I have been a part of. I have never worked with a group of people who are as passionate toward making a company succeed as the people who work at dotloop. I sincerely consider my co-workers family whether it is the people on my team or management/leadership. We even have a culture committee which was set up just for the reason as dotloop understands that its people are its true assets. Social events like Reds games, team outings, and community service events are very common. Career opportunities exist. I started in our customer support department as a customer support rep, moved to our training department, then managed our customer support team, and now work in our Success Department as a a Customer Success Manager. I think what I like best about working at dotloop is knowing that my voice or opinion matters. Product review meetings where you can provide feedback on how to improve the product or provide customer feedback are often held. As well, it is an open door policy and we are encouraged to provide any solutions to better our culture or company (I actually just took a employee feedback survey on Friday).

Cons

We work very hard at dotloop. It seems like those who have not either succeeded at dotloop or were not a good fit were not prepared to work hard. Some weeks I work a lot of hours (50+), other weeks I dont (40 hours) but its important to maximize every second of your day regardless of how many hours you work to be successful at dotloop.

Pros

Opportunities for product growth and personal growth. Fun, engaging, atmosphere for employees.

Cons

Since the company is always moving forward with innovative ideas, there is potential to have consistent change in job responsibilities which can lead to confusion.
