Thank you for sharing your thoughts. First Command is proud to host monthly company-wide events, including town halls and CEO forums, where employees can voice opinions directly to senior leadership, receive feedback, and connect with colleagues to share ideas. Psychological safety within these forums and across the enterprise workplace is essential to the transformational growth and change that creates new opportunities for our clients and people. Our executive leadership team works with the organizational and talent development group at First Command to ensure our staff is trained annually on the basics of psychological safety and surveyed to understand opportunities for further development in our processes. Your comments on limited remote opportunities and management will be shared with our executive leadership team.

Thank you for sharing your review of First Command and highlighting some of the benefits of joining the team as an Office Manager. Independent Financial Advisors can choose to offer benefits to eligible office support staff. 2025 benefits options include dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, long-term disability, pre-paid legal services, and identity theft protection. Again, these benefits are offered at the Advisor's sole discretion. Your feedback on transparency is important and we appreciate you sharing it. We will be sharing it with our executive leadership team.

Toxic culture

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

You are paid every two weeks.

Cons

Strong command and control culture. Management talks a culture of collaboration and psychological safety however actions demonstrate a culture of fear and control. Pride themselves in never having layoffs, but demonstrate a history of randomly laying off groups of 3-5 people at a time Technology department is a disaster with very weak leadership Many opportunities for creating a lean organization exist, but the long standing kingdoms don't allow room for this type of improvement Few opportunities for women to advance

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We believe in our ability to achieve our big audacious goal of being the financial coach of our nation's military. But it is not just about reaching these goals, it is also about how we get there. We take collaboration and psychological safety very seriously as we've heard from our employees that these elements are critical to their well-being as well as business innovation and growth. We appreciate your candid feedback and will be sharing it with our executive team.
