You get to help people - especially military and veterans. You are your own boss - make your own hours and never miss an important event in the lives of your family and friends. You do not require a specific degree. Culture and values are exactly what I want to be a part of.

Cons

You have to get licensed first - this can take 3-5 months, but it is an important part of your education.

You make a great point about the importance of training. One of our most valuable offerings is the Fast Start program, which provides intense professional development to prepare new people to serve our clients as independent Advisors. Some of the benefits of that program include paying new Advisors during the training and licensing period and offering a full array of employee benefits. Through the program, our Advisors learn how to build and grow their own business, serve new clients and provide face-to-face financial coaching. Through this hard work and dedication, they learn how to coach our clients to become financially disciplined and confident in their pursuit of financial security. Great advisor team who takes care of their staff. Definitely a great place to work for veterans! Great place to make a easy military transition.

Cons

Inconsistency from management, feels like you are working under multiple supervisors with different expectations. No sense of equal accountability amongst staff from supervisors.

-We coach those who serve in their pursuit of financial security. -Empowers agile teams to work on solutions the way the team wants to go about it. -Managers are encouraged to be servant leaders. They will help build a career path of whatever it is you are interested in. I've seen Desktop support members become Database Admins, some move to Information Security, and Developers become Scrum Masters. -Pro charity. We have fun events where we come together as a company and raise money for the community around us.

Cons

Nothing of note. I mean, I don't like the coffee. But I just bring my own.
