Chonic understaffing issues; directionless.
Pros
lower/middle management is solid. Coworkers at your level communicate and work together. Opportunities for advancement were plentiful prior to the layoffs of nearly a third of the company.
Cons
Vague plans to move to an 'agile' process have resulted in a worsening of the workflow for nearly every team. Change process is onerous, and nitpicky. Culture of "not my problem" leads to a small number of employees doing the work of many. Too few teams are responsible for too many unrelated tasks for reasons that are never fully explained. Management strategies are opaque, and leadership restructurings are too frequent to make meaningful progress. Favoritism is rampant; IT management is out of touch. Almost every incident and request goes to core operations team. New platforms are hurriedly designed and nearly impossible to effectively maintain.
