      High staff turnover, no one wants to stay long.

      Pros

      Higher than market pay. Flexible work hours around core company hours. Teleworking. Budgets to purchase what is needed to do the job.

      Cons

      High pressure, no failure permitted attitude. Inability to retain key IT staff. High turnover. Demotivating to highly motivated staff. People leave before even being there a week. Expected onsite daily from Black Friday through New Years. Senior Management not in tune with what is going on with staff.

      Middle of the road

      Pros

      The coworkers. The employees are smart and hardworking, for the most part. Location, not too far of a commute. Work schedule

      Cons

      Too much middle management in some areas. Departments were too segregated when I was there. I was completely unfamiliar with other departments or what they did.

      Lack of Procedures

      Pros

      Teams are friendly and the work schedule is a little flexible. We are not babysat on time as long as the work is completed.

      Cons

      Sales seems to run the business. Whenever sales has a solid lead, projects are initiated and work begins to make the new client happy. This is premature sometimes as the overall cost benefit ratio does not always seem to matter. Lack of Industry Procedures hurts projects. There does not seem to be a set list of procedures that are followed and checklists maintained. Teams rush in and the "that is the way we do it here" seems to be the process. It is improving, but it is taking time.
