Pros

I enjoyed working with my team. Benefits were solid, as was the pay.

Cons

Did not handle COVID well at all. I was shocked that a tech company was so unprepared for remote work. Owner also freaked, immediately, not considering creative ways to retain critical staff.

Pros

Solid middle management and teammate, all of whom are willing to support each other. Use of MS Teams instead of Zoom is a definite plus.

Cons

This company is, and has always been, very sales driven; that's great for sales people and C Level execs, but places a burden on downstream accounting and reporting teams who need to work harder to support what customers led or allowed to expect.

Pros

Independent hybrid work week that seems to be the new normal in a lot of industry sectors. Dynamic workweek, Interesting sector to work in, potential for development

Cons

Quite a few structural ones. Not enough of the right kind of collaboration with the sales team, too much back-patting on the product management, IT, and operations team while ignoring the fact that if we used CSAT, we would have a horrible score on that side of the business, and a high one for the sales team.

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Entry into the payments industry

Cons

Account managers are held to a higher standard than any other team. They are overworked and will not add headcount no matter what. They are 100% about profits, not people. Leadership puts so many things on the account manager without it being in the job description. If you love micromanaging, this is your place. You can’t do anything without 3-5 approvals, managers want to attend every call. Control is all they want. Conservative politics at its core, zero accommodations for COVID. One leader literally stated “the government can’t hold us down” during a call regarding vaccines. Inclusion / diversity is lacking. Upper management is AWFUL. They will talk down to you, never listen to any feedback, and they do not care about your input. So many “leaders” get completely wasted on company trips…..I witnessed one manager recording another being drunk and making fun of her in a group setting afterwards. Professionalism is not a thing here. The account management team is the most toxic group I have ever worked with. Someone can have such a bad manager, they ask to be moved to another team and InComm PROMOTES the manager. Zero accountability. Very low pay for market - It can be a $20k difference in pay within the same position with the same work experience. The bonus structure is not built around your portfolio. I can’t say this enough - the leadership at this company is toxic, mysogynistic, political, and rude. The health benefits are awful. Just don’t work here.
