Pros

Abundant opportunities to kick-start or grow one's career. The company has a ton of new initiatives that employees can drive or contribute to. In addition, business is growing rapidly and new opportunities arise frequently. The work-life balance is excellent. Management is flexible to employee needs. Senior management is accessible. The current CTO seems to genuinely care about his people and is determined to make improvements. The people are easy going and great to work with. Great place for the go-getter to advance. After interning for 5 months, I was promoted to full-time employment upon graduation.

Cons

Being in such a dynamic environment, not all business processes are formalized. Establishing formal processes and documentation initiatives are being implemented as a result.

Pros

-Definite commitment to advancing the technologies used in creating software solutions (on the cutting edge in many areas). -Renewed commitment to standardization in IT practices, but not in a way that stymies innovation. -New Senior management has started within the last 6 months and has made it clear that they want to make previous assessments of Incomm's IT reputation a thing of the past (and has shown tangible progress in that regard). -Strong virtualization presence. -Development teams are committed to modern methodologies. -Technical managers are top-notch. -There are very clear "rock-star" role model employees throughout the enterprise. -It's almost impossible NOT to grow in business and technical acumen while at Incomm. -Good employees advance through the ranks relatively quickly.

Cons

-Hard to see the overall strategic landscape from the operational level. -Some teams lack discipline and work ethic (there have been tangible improvements in the last few months under new management). -Business/IT relationship can be challenging. -Priorities change regularly to respond to business needs. -Issue escalation processes are not well defined or followed (also improving under new management).

Pros

Great co-workers! Very skilled and highly trained support and build staff. Conveniently located downtown near Centennial Olympic Park, Peachtree Center, World of Coca-Cola, etc. Better than average compensation

Cons

Nature of the gift card business puts highest load times on starting on Black Friday all the way through New Years. All systems support is in the office for shift work during that time. Brief production outages have huge impacts and full business awareness. Lack of communication between business units leads to everyone having to scramble to meet an unmovable implementation date.
