I was baited and switched into a job. The job for which I interviewed and was hired was NOT the job I was given. My onboarding was 3 and a half weeks alone in a corner with a laptop and ZERO direction. I was hired as a data analyst and I was never once given an analysis assignment. I was instead given over 3,000 websites to manually review one at a time. The company and manager had no idea of what their needs were when hiring. They should have been looking for a team of entry level unskilled workers. I turned down a Data Science role at Google because this company seemed "cool." Don't be fooled like I was. Keep searching right on past this sham operation.

I'm very sorry that your experience with the company was poor and I will do my best to understand the situation further and learn from any mistakes that might have been made. I agree with your comment on investing in onboarding and that is something we are actively addressing. We have recently hired a new Director of Talent & Culture and are hiring a new Learning & Development Manager and part of their roles will be to help us create a new and improved company-wide onboarding process.

Not only is there a fear of being canned which is making people paranoid, but I have recently experienced and became aware of past verbal AND sexual harassment cases that were "mostly" addressed. One seems to have been totally dismissed by the leadership team. CEO has his favorites and these people are untouchable.

This is untrue. I know of exactly one instance of an employee acting inappropriately in this manner, and literally within five minutes of learning about the results of our comprehensive internal investigation, I ordered that we fire the employee who had done the harassing. We subsequently, within days, initiated a company-wide, mandatory training for all staff regarding harassment, and I directed our HR director to ensure that we have this training every year and that all new employees receive it. Aside from this, I'm not aware of a single incident of harassment. On the single occasion it occurred, I and our leadership team acted immediately, decisively, and appropriately. -- John (CEO)

One of the most awful companies I have ever worked for

The dog. The dog was adorable.

I have never worked in a company in which I absolutely dreaded going to work. "Steep learning curve?" Totally fine unless you put the fear of God into your employees from week one. I have worked in a lot of high-pressure environments that had a "boot camp" training period, but I always felt supported and treated fairly. The whole "make the same mistake twice and you're gone" is just really not conducive to a positive work environment. If I could give this company -17 stars I would. Coming to work at LegitScript was unpleasant at best and downright terrifying at worst. I was only there for 6 months and the turnover was ridiculous. Best thing that ever happened to me there is being let go. Oh and the salary is ridiculously low for requiring analysts to be bilingual and have a college degree.
