First thing you need to know about the sales dept is that it is 100% cold calling. They tell you the leads are warm, but they aren’t. They have no idea who you are or who the company is. If cold calling isn’t for you, then think about looking somewhere else.
Second, the new management doesn’t understand what “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” means. He wants to leave his legacy behind him in this company on how he made improvements to something that was working well and efficiently to begin with. Changing things that don’t need to be changed. He doesn’t understand our culture or process, he just wants to see an increase in the output of all departments.
Overall, there's been a significant declined over the last year and it's not looking like it will improve.
