Bad: Depending on your role, team mates can be unimaginative, un-supportive, gossip fest, favoritism, and it can go on. Team was without a manager for about 60% of my time there, which often times was challenging to talk about career direction and other work related issues without going to lead or HR. You could easily do 10% of work, and the other 90% goof off, chill, take long lunch, and relax without being noticed. Ugly: no respect for fellow coworkers, lack of leadership, direction, or communication from CEO. I worked there for 2 years and not *once* did I receive any communication from the CEO. The CTO does his best to communicate, but often times, it's about the irresponsibility of a few co workers, but that's not enough. There are a lot of mediocrity at Incomm and the one's that take the initiative quickly realize why there is a high turn over as well as look for other positions.

Politics and cliques in upper management will bring the company to its knees sooner than later! Jack Maloney thinks he has the formula. We'll see!

- Communication needs to improve within the departments and within each team - Favoritism needs to stop - There are employees who perform minimum work and get away with it whereas other employees who work ten times harder and come in on their days off are not even recognized for employee of the month - The training has been improved but employees personalize their own way of doing their work (for example: the lack of professional etiquette in composing emails) - Some people will attempt to sink you if you perform a mistake - The connectivity issues and IT issues in general hardly improve - Foul language/profanity is common in regular conversations between co-workes which is distracting and not professional - Some employees have been hired due to someone knowing them but they are not qualified for the job and tend to create more work for other employees

Poor Manager. Lack of support in training and communication. The environment was not condusive to a productive performance. Too much unprofessional chatter and teamwork with all memberswas not strong within our departments. Some supported each other, some did NOT even speak to their teammates. Workload was not reasonable and needed to be adjusted so that it manageable and there is a satisfactory work/life balance.

Stay away from here if you can. You have been warned. It is a black hole for talent and there's very good reason no person worth their salt stays. People are "promoted" based on time served or favoritism and not by the quality of their work. Extremely poor communication. Rash decisions made daily by leadership and management without a care for people's lives. Lower level employees can be okay, but the higher up you go, the worse the people are. Management is literally incapable of taking responsibility for anything and will throw you under the bus any chance they get. For a "technology" company, the technology is light years behind for employees and causes day to day issues. If you think you're joining a modern day tech company, you will be massively disappointed. At a recent town hall, there was even talk of taking away work from home days and becoming even less flexible. Instead of changing with the times, this company is literally moving backwards. Leadership is lucky it is a private company because if it were public and shareholders saw the dysfunction, they would be long gone. If you do choose to work here, document everything starting day one. Be wary of everything you say and do because someone will find a way to use it against you.

The cons were lack of needed communication, lack of clear and concise expectations and change that was not communicated effectively.

Very poor/non-existent management training leading to inconsistent management across departments. The boss that caused me to leave was a nightmare. She was unprofessional and had no business managing people, but she fell into her position in reorgs and because she reported to an upper level person with too many reports she never really got reviewed nor was her Management behavior ever really questioned. Some departments have talented people running them that work hard and value and promote their employees, but it's not at all consistent across the company. Many of the uppermost management don't have true previous c-level experience, and it shows in inconsistent decision making and poor employee communication. They tend to be very reactionary and have a throw it all at the wall and see what sticks philosophy. People never were trusted or wanted to make decisions because they lived in fear of upsetting upper management. There was no sense of employee empowerment when it came to any type of decision making. Projects, products and initiatives go from being the huge focus one week to disappearing the next with little or no explanation. There were also lots of reorgs and restructurings due to bad upper management's refusal to acknowledge it's shortcomings and manage issues. I would advise a potential candidate to do as much research as you can to find out about the department you will be in before committing, or at least be prepared for a rocky road
