Thank you for your comments. Our support system is a 1-3 ratio for newly hired employees, which is unique in our environment. We provide our employees with excellent training and mentoring before entering production. While all systems can be improved, we pride ourselves in continuous improvement projects. We do not manipulate our metrics, they are based solely on employee individual performance. We wish you well in your new endeavors.

Pros

Literally, the only "Pro" to this job is being able to Work-From-Home.

Cons

- Decent health insurance benefits for full-time (30+ hours per week) but extremely low pay for the kind of work you're asked to do on a regular basis. On average, agents working directly for SDC's clients (i.e., Comcast) make 38% more than agents working for the company. - Incompetent Operations Team; specifically, scheduling and requesting Time Off - Inadequate Training - Often times unable to resolve a customer's issue(s) - Condescending Management, HR & Operations

Thank you for your feedback. As with most contact center roles, schedules are dependent upon the changes to our business and call flow, we are very open about this. We always provide a minimum of a two week notice for schedule changes, as well as the opportunity to bid on the schedule that best suits your needs. We also provide notice on all extra hours required, as we know the challenges these can bring to an individual. We wish you the best!

Pros

The pros are the fact that you are able to stay at home and not have to worry about the commute. They have great training available to you before you get out on to the floor and a great support system when you are in training .

Cons

After you are done with training though the support is not there from who they call your supervisors. You only have communication through an IM system on a program they all use and although that is handy to an extent all they will tell you is to look it up when you have a technical question. It can be very frustrating and maddening to an extreme especially when you have a angry customer who doesn't want to wait while you read or find a specific article for their problem.

We also have many robust articles and features to assist you with the day to day functions in your role. We encourage employees to find this information and read it, so they can handle future situations with little to no hesitation. We wish you well in your new endeavors.

Pros

Good management, really fun and happy training, ability to make sales and get a flat rate pay, easily get over time

Cons

Fast paced, low starting pay(10.25$), little to no help when needed , lots of software and sites you use daily including a Windows 7 VPN which runs like trash.

Pros

Plenty of hours usually, consistent pay, and thorough paid training.

Cons

They don't have good tools to help customers. Constantly put in positions where the agents can't help. Complicated systems in the tools they do have. If attempting to work here don't get used to being part of a team as changes take place every week to every month.

Thank you for your feedback. Our tools, which are provided by our client(s) are the most up to date tools available, and while complicated in the beginning, can be overcome with practice. We do provide feedback to our client(s) so that they may continue to evolve with their tool offerings. We have limited the number of team changes an employee will have in their current environment, so thank you for your feedback, we do make changes based on information received. We wish you well in your new endeavors.

Pros

Hired on very quickly and training is very detailed.

Cons

Did not mention that a majority of the position is sales and not tech support

Thank you for your feedback. All our job descriptions for the work from home contact center role state that there are upsell requirements. During our interview process we discuss this in depth, as well as in all our offer paperwork. I am sorry you did not feel this was as clear as it could have been. These are not hard sales requirements but rather finding an opportunity to improve customer service and experience. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Pros

I get a paycheck every two weeks and a decent bonus after 90 days.

Cons

Training doesn't really prepare you for the job. Company is more focused on making sales than actually resolving issues.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you did not feel the training experience was sufficient, however, you are correct – there is nothing like being in production. Training is "theory," and performing the role itself is critical to your success. We are constantly working with our clients to enhance their training, so feedback is critical to this process. Thank you
